March 28, 1969 – February 13, 2026
Kardell Lane Delcambre, 56, passed away on February 13, 2026. Born on March 28, 1969, Kardell was a hardworking, generous man whose life was defined by determination, service, and an unwavering love for his family.
From a young age, Kardell had a strong work ethic and a passion for helping others. In 1990, he founded his window tinting business, Sharpline Design, where he took great pride in his craftsmanship. More than that, he treasured the conversations and friendships formed along the way. He had a natural gift for connecting with people and believed in serving every customer with honesty, fairness, and care.
Driven and entrepreneurial, Kardell later transitioned into the industrial and oilfield industry, working with Viscardi before establishing his own company in 2008, Team Energy Services. Through dedication and perseverance, he built a reputation grounded in reliability and integrity. After many successful years as a business owner, he returned to the automotive industry, where he once again served the public—this time selling cars. It was work he genuinely loved, as it allowed him to meet new people daily and help them find exactly what they needed.
In his younger years, Kardell enjoyed boating and spending time on the water. As the years passed, he found joy in restoring and mending vehicles, bringing new life to old machines with patience and skill. Whether at work or at home, he was always building, fixing, or improving something. The family shared a laugh when speaking of Kardell’s love of muscle cars, engines, racing, and fast speeds. He had a remarkable ability to make any engine run faster, outperforming its standard limits. His mechanical skills and love for speed led him to race at State Capital Raceway, where his motto was, “If you ain’t first, you’re last.”
Kardell cherished vacations with his family, especially trips to the beaches of Orange Beach and Destin, though home was always where his heart belonged. Another of his many talents was found in the kitchen. His chicken and sausage gumbo, crawfish étouffée, and cornbread dressing were second to none. If you were invited to share a meal at his table, you left content and full—though hopefully you saved room for dessert, as his homemade lemon meringue pie was the perfect ending. Kardell poured the same love from his heart into the meals he prepared as he did into every other part of his life.
Above all, Kardell loved his family deeply. Monica was his absolute world, and he spoiled her with constant love and adoration, and nothing was ever too much for the love of his life. His devotion extended fully to his children. He was Zack’s number one fan throughout his baseball years and Bailey’s greatest supporter during her competitive cheer and dance seasons. It is no surprise that Kardell adored his only grandson and treasured every moment spent with him. He was eagerly awaiting the arrival of another grandson in May, Madden Lane Bonin, already prepared to share the same boundless love and pride.
Kardell will be remembered for his tireless spirit, his passion for helping others, and the genuine kindness he extended to everyone he met. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the businesses he built, and the family he loved so dearly.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife and best friend of 34 years, Monica Delcambre; his children, Bailey Bonin (Micah) and Zack Delcambre (Ashlyn); his precious grandsons, Briggs Michael Derise and Madden Lane Bonin (expected in the summer); his brothers, Kenny Delcambre (Alisha) and Lenny Delcambre (Clarissa); his father- and mother-in-law, James and Tannie Delcambre; his brother- and sisters-in-law, Howie Delcambre (Cherie), Mysti Thibodeaux (Toby), and Jenna Bolano (Jorge); his uncles, Geary Viator (Peggy) and Marcus Viator (Debbie); his nieces and nephews, Brenna Delcambre (his Godchild), Logan Rader, Jax Thibodeaux, Jake Delcambre, Amelia Rader, Aiden Delcambre, Julian Bolano, Abigail Rader, and Ani Delcambre (his Godchild); his half-sisters, Misty Delcambre and April Delcambre; and Cheyenne Dunn, whom Kardell loved as his own niece.
