Tim Francis Thibodeaux

DELCAMBRE – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mr. Tim Francis Thibodeaux, age 58, at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Fr. Nathan Comeaux will be the celebrant. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Delcambre.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Evangeline Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm, with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen on Saturday from 9:00 am until 10:30 am.

A native and resident of Delcambre, Tim passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 11:30 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

Tim was a true outdoorsman who had a passion for hunting, fishing, and tending to his cows. He also enjoyed anything that involved spending time with his family and friends, whether it was watching a football or baseball game, or just hanging around. He leaves behind many fond memories and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his son, Judd Francis Thibodeaux and wife Erica of Youngsville; brothers, Benny Thibodeaux and companion Kay Stoute of Erath and Spencer Thibodeaux and wife Deidre of Youngsville; sisters, Vickie Guidry and husband Rusty, Sandy Thibodeaux and companion Robert Coleman, and Tracy Thibodeaux all of Delcambre, and Julie Boudreaux and husband John of Erath; special friend, Susan Houck; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll Joseph and Betty LeBlanc Thibodeaux.

Serving as pallbearers will be Casey Guidry, Brooks Thibodeaux, Tyler Boudreaux, Nicholas Boudreaux, Micah Boudreaux and Trevor Champagne. Honorary pallbearers are Chris Guidry, Bubba Carlin, Austin Thibodeaux, Triston Champagne, Tucker Jensen, and Tanner Jensen.
