We met when our parents both moved to Margate, FL.  Had holidays and many vacations together for many years.  Had recently lost touch but now wish it was different.  She was a very special lady who loved her family very much. I respected her for taking such good care of her ailing mother and hope she was given the same tender care.  I (we) will miss her. Fay, you were full of joy and loved by everyone. I was 20 years old when we met and you played a key role in grooming me into a young man. May you rest in peace and we will meet again in heaven.

I am sorry to have lost such  a wonderful and  dear friend.  I consider myself lucky to have  shared a special friendship with you.   I always enjoyed spending time with you, whether it was dinner or shopping you were always fun to be around.    Your wonderful sense of humor often made  some difficult days seem easier.  I am sure that you have found a beautiful resting place in heaven.  I will miss you but,  you will always live in my heart and prayers.

My Dear Friend Fay

You were a friend in the truest sense and would do anything for anyone.  You were a beautiful person inside and out and had a heart of gold.  You loved your family unconditionally, and they were truly blessed to have you.  Your smile was contagious, and, Fay,  you always told it like it was!!  I will always cherish our times together and the years we spent at Seagram/Universal.  We enjoyed many talks, laughs and dinners together and always ended up talking about our beloved New York!!  You were a real fighter and never gave up, but the Lord wanted another angel and called you home.  RIP my friend with the Lord, and your family who welcomed you home.  I will truly miss you, but you will always be in my heart.  Until we meet again.

Fay had a beautiful gift of making each person around her feel valued. Often times, I'd find myself talking to her for an hour on end during the busy work schedule. She will be missed dearly. My prayers are with her family.

I posted on Facebook that Fay had passed away.  Below are some of the responses that I have received from co-workers and students.  Some of the students graduated years ago, but they still love her.  I love her and I miss her.  I miss our lunches together, hanging out, talking about family and other topics.  She loved all of her family so much!  I called her phone yesterday and her voicemail came on - it was so good to hear her voice that I called a second time to hear her message.  Fay was definitely one of a kind and she left her mark with everyone she met.
