Gerard N Risi

A loving and devoted son, brother, husband, father and friend, Gerry was preceded in death by his father, Nunzio Risi, his mother Carmela Risi and his wife Carol Risi. He is survived by his son Eric, his brother Paul and mother in-law Judy Willis.

Born in Jersey City and raised in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, Gerry was a diligent student and dedicated athlete in track & field while attending Admiral Farragut Academy in Pine Beach, New Jersey. After moving to Miami, Florida a career move brought him to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he met Carol and started a family.

As a life-long business man & financier for over 40 years, he enjoyed the many friendships he made along the way. During various roles in his early career, Gerry impacted the lives of many colleagues and friends he made along the way. It didn’t matter how Gerry knew you or whether he worked with you, he was always happy to help you or have you be his guest at his house or table.

Gerry loved his new home and surroundings here in Delray Beach, Florida. He was most happy when providing for, caring for and cooking for his family and friends.
