Lois Brennan

May 24, 1939 - April 1, 2024.

Lois Brennan, age 84 of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday, April 1, 2024 following a courageous six year long battle with cancer. All that knew her watched as she fought bravely with her head held high. She was born on May 24, 1939 to Beverly and Hyman Levin in Rochester, New York where she went to college at Brockport and received a Bachelor’s degree in education. Although Lois’s roots started in New York, she was a Floridian for more than 50 years.

She was an avid tennis player who was a competitive member of the team. In addition to tennis, she found great joy in playing poker and spending time with her extended family. She was also in the travel industry for over 25 years. She was very accomplished as the past president of Bon Vivants of Greater Miami.

Predeceased by her husband Derwin Brennan, Lois leaves behind her sister, Elaine Brown, her niece Karen Schefter and nephews, Richard Schefter, Kenneth Schefter, his children Cameron Schefter and Sarah Schefter and Andrew Schefter, his wife Erika Schefter and their daughter Alexandra Schefter, her brother Alan Levin, his wife, Doreen Levin, and children Satchel Jake Levin, Abbey Pawluk, Sammy Levin and Lucy Levin.

She will be greatly missed by all.
