

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel will Rev. Jerry Coffman officiating.
Anita was born June 2, 1928 in Clarksville, Texas, daughter of Lillie Rivas Perez and Guillermo Perez. She was the second child of seven children, Manuel Calderon (d) of Amarillo, William Perez (d) of Odessa, , Angie Florez of Vernon, Maria Flores (d) of Abilene, Royce Perez of Waco, and David Perez of Joplin, Mo.
In childhood she was raised on a farm in Blateney, Texas and spoke of good memories growing up there. Later the family moved to Paducah, Texas where her father worked on the railroad. In 1948, her family owned and operated a small café on Main Street that was managed by Anita and her sisters.
On July 4, 1953, she married the love of her life, Santiago Segura. She became a housewife and homemaker committed to raising her family which she did faithfully and lovingly until her daughters and grandsons were grown and on their own. Anita and Santiago were devoted to their family and each other. He preceded her in death in 2006.
She will be greatly missed by her family, daughters Senaida Segura of Wylie, Susanna Bounds of Denison, Silvia & husband Tod Turean of Denison; grandsons Jason Martinez of McKinney, Jeremias Martinez of Garland and Taylor Turean of Denison; great grandchildren Mackenzie, Madeline & Griffin Martinez, Blake & Hailey Martinez.
She is and will always be remembered as a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
