Aurelia McDonald

Aurelia McDonald, 58, died Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.

The family will be at Bratcher Funeral Home for visitation Friday, August 19, 2016 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm.

Memorial service will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel.

Aurelia was born September 6, 1957 in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico to Estella Almendarez Casares and Luis Almendarez Puente. She enjoyed working out, taking care of her plants, watching the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Longhorns and spending time with friends and family. Aurelia was strong, loving and had a big heart. She always put others first and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband Ryan McDonald of Bonham, Texas; daughter Ashley Sass of Sherman, Texas; daughter Amy Sass of Sherman, Texas; daughter Stacey Almeida and husband Luiz Almeida of Crossroads, Texas; 4 grandchildren, Daedrien, Ayden, Adriana and Camila; sister Anna Maria Placencia and husband Mauro Placencia; sister Terry Almendarez DeLuna and husband Frank DeLuna; brother Luis Manuel Almendarez; brother Juan Francisco Almendarez; sister Maria Almendarez Gonzales and husband Mikaell Gonzales.

She is preceded in death by her parents Estella Almendarez Casares and Luis Almendarez Puente and grandson Nathan Carter, Jr.
