Visitation will be Monday, December 8, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Bratcher Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. at Cherry Mound Cemetery, Denison, Texas with Rev. Brett Castle officiating.
David was born January 23, 1949 in Denison, Texas to Raymond Butcher and Hazel Sanford Butcher.
He is survived by son David Butcher of Denison, Texas; brothers Thomas Butcher of Denison, Texas, Richard Butcher and wife Kathy of Washington, Bill Butcher and wife Paulette of Denison, Texas; sisters Linda Jinkins of Denison, Texas, Phyllis Hogan and husband David of Temple, Texas, Patricia Watson of Durant, Oklahoma, Sheila Kenyon and husband Coy of Pottsboro, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother R.C. Butcher II and sister Hazel Polston.
