Eugene Chuck Justin Barnes

Visitation for Eugene will be from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M., Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Bratcher Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, 5805 Texoma Parkway, Sherman, TX 75090.

Eugene was born June 20, 1947 in Marshall, Texas, the son of Eugene J. Barnes and Ila Yates. He was of the Baptist faith and worked for Lighthouse for the Blind.

He is survived by his mother Ila of Dallas; sons Michael Joseph Barnes of Queens Creek, Arizona, Robert Eugene Barnes of Denison; daughter Shannon Lynn Barnes of Queens Creek, Arizona; sister Susan Petr of Dallas; uncle Robert Yates & wife Katy of Denison; aunt Linda Cole & husband John of Denison.
