George F. Moon

The family will be at Bratcher Funeral Home for visitation from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M., Sunday, February 17, 2013.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, February 18, 2013 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Dr. Chet Haney officiating.

George was born Monday, June 14, 1920 in Van, Texas, the son of George W. Moon and Minnie Hazlewood Moon. He married Hilda Marie Bjoernson on June 11, 1959 in Durant, Oklahoma. He was in the U.S. Air Force for over 17 years and served in WWII and Korea. He was an air craft mechanic and chief flight engineer.

He is survived by his wife Hilda of Denison; son Frank Moon of Los Angeles, California; daughters Deborah Ann Moon of Frisco, Texas, Georganna MacQuigg of Dallas, Texas and brother Bob Hamilton of Louisiana.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Disabled American Veterans.
