J. Kelly McConnell

The family will be at Bratcher Funeral Home for visitation on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel with Clyde "The Cowboy" Leinneweber officiating. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman.

Pallbearers will be Billy McConnell, James Lee, Allan Harvell, Stacy Harvell, Tommy Sikes & Michael Cline. Honorary pallbearers will be Casey Lovell, Shawn Harvell, and Christian Harvell.

Kelly was born Tuesday, February 26, 1963 in Arcada, California, the son of George McConnell & Geneva Williams McConnell. He married the love of his life, Donna Little in Battiest, Ok on Saturday, July 12, 1980. He was a railroad conductor for Union Pacific Railroad until his retirement in 2004.

He is survived by wife Donna of Sherman; mother Geneva McConnell of Idabel, OK; daughers Jacklyn McConnell Clark & husband Robert of Pottsboro, Texas, Kathy Santana McConnell of Sherman, Texas; Cami Lee & husband James of Bethel, Oklahoma; son Jysse McGehee and wife Dottie of McAlister,OK; sisters Gail Bates & husband Roy of N. Little Rock, Arkansas, Vickie McGehee & husband Tim of Valliant, Oklahoma; grandchildren Michael Brooks, Samantha Wyatt, Bryant Lee, and Brentley McGehee, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by father George McConnell, brother Bill McConnell & sister Kathy McConnell.
