

DENISON – Born James Keith “Jim” Lynch on August 25, 1947 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Sherman, Texas to parents James ‘Stanley’ Lynch and Sylvia Norene Smallwood. Jim passed away on September 27, 2011 at his home in Denison.
He graduated from Whitesboro High School in 1965 and after retiring from the MKT Railroad, he was employed by the Grayson County Health Department.
From an early age, Jim was known for his love of music, often composing original songs and performing with several local bands through the years including Leather & Steele, Texas XXX and Spare Change. He had an extensive and unique personal collection of literature, art and treasures found over many years of perusal in local antique shops. He also never missed an opportunity to pick up a Barbie collectible for his cherished wife of 30 years, Trish.
Jim’s presence will be greatly missed by his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia ‘Trish’ Puckett Lynch of Denison; father James ‘Stanley’ Lynch and wife Marguerite of Denison; brothers Mike and David Lynch of Sherman; sisters Linda Flowers and Mary Russey of Sherman; daughters Wendy Fallon and husband Pat of Tom Bean and Melody Garcia and husband Jody of Allen; six grandchildren; Jessica Johnson, Kyle Fallon, Savannah Whitmer, Kaitlyn Whitmer, Annie Fallon and Mason Garcia and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by this mother, Sylvia Skinner.
Family visitation will be held Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the home of James Stanley Lynch at 829 Lakewood Drive in Denison, TX from 6:30-8:30 PM.
A memorial service, officiated by Chaplain Bryan Spurgin, will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2011 from 2 - 4 PM at Bratcher Funeral Home in Denison, TX.
