John was born Tuesday, August 29, 1922 in Denison, TX to Jose Jesus Lopez. He served his country in the US Army during WWII.
He is survived by six children; Joe Lopez of Luella, John Gregory Lopez of Colbert, OK, Paul Lopez of Denison, Alicia Lopez of Denison, Ellen Edwards of Pottsboro, Martin Lopez of Van Alstyne and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Lopez.
