Family Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Bratcher Funeral Home in Denison. Private family burial will be at a later date.
John was born Saturday, June 16, 1934 in Graceville, Minnesota the son of Nicholas & Evelyn (Johnson) Philagios. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force from 1953 to 1960.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joanne; son, Mike; sisters, Marie Zehringer and Ruth Keith.
He is survived by sons, Jerry Mark Philagios of Denison, Jimmy Phillip Philagios of Ft. Worth; daughters, Winnie Leona Warren & husband Fred of Bastrop, TX, Susan Tamara Norton & husband Ken of Mead, OK, Evelyn Teresa Shaw of Dension, Callie Faye Evans of Austin, TX; sister Katherine Lee of New Ulm, MN, 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren.
