Mable Pauline Steele

Visitation will be Monday, August 19, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., at Bratcher Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 11:00 A.M., at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Bobby Clay officiating.

Mable was born Thursday, August 6, 1925 in Lamar County to Odell Clay and Etalker Miller Clay. She worked for Kress for 27 years and Wynns for several years. She loved to bowl, quilt, travel and to work gig saw puzzles.

She is survived by son James Steele and wife Vicki of Forney, Texas; brother James “Bubby” Clay of Denison, Texas; sisters Elsie Parks of Paris, Texas, Judy Hargrove of Denison, Texas; four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded by her husband Lloyd Steele, Sister Yvonne Clay and Brother Woody Clay.
