Marie Lumpkin Olivo

Funeral service will be held at 1:30 P.M., Friday, September 12, 2014 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel, Denison, Texas with Larry Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman, Texas.

Marie was born on Thursday, March 13, 1924 in Healdton, Oklahoma, the daughter of Jordan H. Lumpkin and Liccie B. Peacock. She was very creative; was an avid quilter; talented seamstress; loved to cross stitch; loved country music and her family and friends. Everything she did was a work of art.

She is survived by son Gary Olivo & wife Cindy of Colleyville, Texas; daughter Linda Williams of Denison, Texas; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Walter J. Olivo, her parents and brother.
