Marilyn Ann Franks

Marilyn was born Monday, July 1, 1940 in Xenia, Ohio to Paul Lindamood and Hazel DeVoe Lindamood. She graduated from Dover High School, was a member of Denison Crime Stoppers, member 21 Club, keep Denison Beautiful, Cub Scout Leader, US for Ike’ Birthplace, Thursday Review Club, Ester Ladies Group at the Church, Past Worthy Matron of Gated City Chapter #77, Board of Directors for the Kids Pantry at Trinity UMC and many leadership roles of Church Board.

Marilyn loved to work in her flower garden, sew, read books, cook and work the daily crossword puzzle.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 55 years, Harold Franks; daughter Teresa Franks; two sons, Paul Franks and wife Terri and Thomas (Tom) Franks and fiancée Tina Ball; three grandchildren, Nathan Franks and wife Barbara, Ryan Franks, Troi Holt and husband John; half-sister Sue Losekamp and husband Tom and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two half-brothers, Paul Lindamood and George Kershner III.

Family night will be at Bratcher Funeral Home Friday, April 11, 2014 from 6:00 – 7:30 P.M. Celebration of Marilyn’s life will be at Trinity UMC Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 1:00 P.M.
