Marvin Jake Norman

The family will be at Bratcher Funeral Home for visitation from 6:00 – 7:00 P.M., Sunday, June 24, 2012.

The graveside service will be at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, 5805 Texoma Parkway Sherman, TX 75090 at 10:00 A. M., Monday, June 25, 2012 with Jesse Latham officiating.

Marvin was born in Telephone, Texas on Thursday, April 23, 1923 to Joel Norman and Lynde Jones Norman. He worked as a Crane Operator for W. J. Smith Wood Preserving Company.

He was survived by son Marvin Jake Norman II and wife Edith of Sherman, daughters Debbie Nason and husband Ralph of Sherman, Brenda Baugh and husband Mike of Mesquite, 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Floy, daughter Diane Ham, grand-daughters Melissa Nason and Delynne Norman.
