Mary Yvonne Clay

A memorial service will be conducted by Rev. Bobby Clay (nephew) and will be held at Trinity Lighthouse Church, 2915 Spur 503, Denison, TX 75020, Friday, May 13, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. Family visitation and lunch following the service will be at the residence, 1627 S. Maurice Avenue, Denison, Texas.

Yvonne was born in Denison, Texas on May 14, 1936, the youngest child of Odell and Etalker Clay. She was a lifelong resident of Denison and was proud to have been raised in the Cotton Mill area. She dearly loved her family and was lovingly known as Memo to her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Survivors include her daughters Judy Petty and husband Robert, Elsie Russell and husband Tim, both of Denison; step-children Carolyn Miller and husband Bob of Cartwright, OK, David McMurray of Richardson, TX and Dana Kimbro of Austin, TX; grandchildren Dylan Petty and Brittni Long of Denison, TX, Bailey Petty of Austin, TX, Clay and Chloe Russell of Denison, TX, Jason Miller of Denison, TX Cory Kimbro of Austin, TX, Michael McMurray of Lubbock, TX, Katie McMurray of Austin, TX and great-grandhchild Addisun Petty of Denison, TX.

She is also survived by sisters Mabel Steele and Judy Hargrove of Denison, TX, Elsie Park of Paris, TX; brother Buddy Clay of Denison, TX, sister-in-law Patsy Clay of Denison, TX and numerous loving nieces and nephews and family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-son Bobby McMurray and brother Woody Clay.
