Mayrene Salyer Wilson Klivans

A memorial service will be held Monday, October 21, 2013 at11:00 A.M. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church with The Very Reverend Donald R. Perschall officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Mayrene was born on Sunday, April 30, 1933 in Greenbrier, Arkansas, the daughter of Arvil Wilson & Loye Opal Allen Wilson. She was self-employed in auto sales & service and was a rancher. She married Charles “Chuck” Klivans in Denison on April 17, 2003 and he preceded her in death on August 15, 2013.

Suzan and Karen wants everyone to know how much they loved Mayrene and how much she meant to them – through the years bringing them closer and how much she will be missed.

She is survived by step-daughters Suzan McDonald & husband Eddie of Sattler, Texas, Karen Salyer & husband Rick of Denison; sister Brenda Wilson & husband Tom of Bogalusa, Louisiana; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; niece Deanna Carol Drake; nephew Tony Darrel Drake; other nieces & nephews.

She is preceded in death by parents; husbands J. C. Salyer & Charles Klivans; son Jessie C. Salyer; brother Al Wilson; sisters Athlene Glover, Lucille (Lucy) McLain and Aldeen Kolatis.

The family would like to thank the caregivers, Deander Milner and Pat Steward for their love and compassion during this difficult time.
