Morene V Baker Torbett

A graveside service for Morene will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, 5805 Texoma Parkway, Sherman, TX 75090. Rev. Jim Hawthorne & Chaplain Sheryl Myers will officiate.

She was born July 9, 1914 in Sardis, Tennessee, the daughter of P. J. Baker and Zella Haggard. She was a graduate of Denison High School and worked as office manager for a doctor’s office. She was also a pink lady for 20 years.

Morene is survived by daughters Sharon Fulton of Denison, Nancy Lowry of Denison; brothers Moody Mack of Atlanta, Georgia, Keith Mack of Denison; sisters Dorothy Glance of Kent, Washington, Lynn Czekaj of Ft. Worth, Texas; grandchildren Chris Fulton, Johnathan Lowry, Michelle Lowry and 5 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to First Presbyterian Church, 213 N. Burnett Ave., Denison, TX 75020 or Home Hospice of Grayson County, 505 W. Center, Sherman, TX 75090.
