Visitation will be from 6 -7 p.m., Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Bratcher Funeral Home, 401 W. Woodard St., Denison, TX 75020.

The Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at the funeral home.

The Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, St. Patrick Catholic Church, 314 N. Rusk, Denison, TX 75020 with Father Stephen Mocio officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

He was born in Denison to Dee and Nora Jeter and attended both Golden Rule and Denison High school. He joined the Air Force February 3, 1942 and served four years during WWII. He was an airplane and engine mechanic during this time and frequently talked about his time in Guam and the Philippine Islands. He attended Draughn’s Business College where he met Gertrude Hudek and they married on November 24, 1947 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. He worked at Perrin Air force base for 39 years continuing a career as an Airplane Mechanic.

He is survived by six sons and three daughters; David, Robert, Stephen, Kenneth, Joseph, James, Theresa, Barbara and Kathy. He had 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Gertrude, both parents and an infant sister.
