Richard Rick Ray Stockman

The family will be at Bratcher Funeral Home for visitation from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 20, 2012.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, May 21, 2012 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Raymond England officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery, Calera, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be David Couch II, Clifton R. Ahhaitty, David Medler, Joe Latham, Chris Fulton, Toufic Chalouhi, Kyle Moore, John Latham and Jon Cain.

Rick was born on April 29, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri to Raymond John and Allene Davis Stockman. He attended schools in Raytown, Missouri, Lawton, Oklahoma and Houston, Texas. He joined the Navy in 1970 and graduated second in his class from radar school in Florida.

When he was discharged in 1971 because of an injury in Guam, he met Sharon Hudek in Denison. They married and had three daughters Taunya, Jeannie and Wendy. He worked in construction with his father in Dallas and later with his uncles in Houston until he moved to Abilene. He later married Teresa after moving to Abilene, where he sold cars. He was awarded numerous times as Best Salesmen of Texas.

Rick was one of the founding executive consultants of Ambit Energy; was affiliated with the Christian community; his hobbies were fishing and riding his Harley Davidson. He enjoyed his children and grandchildren and has always been a loving son and father.

Rick is survived by his mother, Allene Ahhaitty & husband Clifton of Denison, Texas; father, Raymond J. Stockman & wife Patricia of Denison; daughters Taunya Medler & husband David of Pottsboro, Texas, Jeannie Marie Westmoreland & husband Jon of Sherman, Texas, Wendy Fulton & husband Chris of Sherman, Taylor Touchstone of Denison; son Michael D. Hudek & wife Melissa of Howe, Texas; brother Clifton Rick Ahhaitty & wife Lori of Denison; sisters Karin Sue Couch of Denison, Cheryl Chalouhi & husband Toufic of Roncello, Italy, Mary Latham & husband Joe of Denison; grandchildren Stephen Herd, Christian Herd, Sherri Westmoreland, Dawson & Hailee Medler, Chace, Tyler, Brady Fulton, Christopher & Mikayla Hudeck; cousins Helen Cox, Lloyd Capps, Kelly Capps and Caroline Little.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Grace A. McCall; grandparents R.J. Stockman & Josephine Stockman; cousin Loran Williams; aunt Kathleen; uncles Eugene & Melvin Stockman.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the charity of choice.
