

She attended elementary and middle school in the New Town and Idaho areas, and attended high school at Inner Mountain Indian School where she graduated. She continued her education, and worked various jobs such as blackjack dealer, road construction, accounting, potpourri factory, and many other jobs.
She enjoyed traveling, site seeing, listening to music, dancing, playing cards with friends, the casino, bingo, and was a huge Denver Broncos fan.
She was blessed with two children and five grandchildren.
Anita passed away at the age of 63 at Denver Health Medical Center and began her journey home Sunday June 26, 2022. Her generous, kind and goofy personality will be greatly missed.
Her children Gabriel Black Hawk and Tiffany Norton (Timothy) survive Anita, as well as her grandchildren Sidasia, Isaiah, Briella, Thomas and Destiny. Her siblings: Kelly Black Hawk, Sandra Langved, Donald Chapin (Prairie Rose) and Joy Chapin.
He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.

A memorial service for Sunny will be held Friday, July 1, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Olinger Hampden Mortuary & Cemetery, 8600 East Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231.
