

Anthony is survived by his wife, Carol, four children: Mario, Juanita Mora Williams, Cindy, and Mark, two step-children: Marcy Fleet and Daniel Lane, and one adopted daughter, Terry. He also left behind sixteen grandchildren: Andrew and Luke (Mario), Austin, Jordan, and Ethan (Juanita), Andrea, Alex, Ethan, and Paige (Mark), Andrew and Ashleigh (Marcy), Christina and Daniel (Daniel), and Heather, Windy, and Samantha (Terry).
Anthony was extremely proud of his time in the Army. He is a veteran of the Korean War where he achieved the rank of Corporal and earned the Korean Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars, Purple Heart with two Oak Leaf Clusters, Good Conduct Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Navy Presidential Unit Citation, Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Commendation, Expert Qualification Badge with Rifle Bar, and National Defense Service Medal. While in Korea, he fought in the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir where he suffered two gunshot wounds and severe frostbite in both hands and feet. He was medically discharged from the US Army on October 31, 1951 and enjoyed a long career as a Prescription Eyeglass Maker Foreman.
During his life, he enjoyed spending time traveling and visiting new places with his family. He also had a lifetime of stories which he gladly shared. Some of these stories were from his time at the Chosin Reservoir which were included in numerous television interviews and documentaries. He was also featured is several newspaper stories and honored at numerous Veteran’s events. He also loved working on and spending time in the house and yard he shared with his sweetheart, Carol and their beloved dog, Sophie.
Anthony was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His love for his family was never questioned and was proven by his words and actions. He was also very friendly, engaging just about everyone he met in conversation. One of his greatest joys were making people laugh. Words cannot begin to describe how much he will be missed.
