He graduated from the University of Nebraska and was a die hard, life long, Cornhusker fan. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos. He was also an avid reader of all genres of books, even developing friendships with Tony Hillerman and others.
As a Commercial Real Estate Broker, he was instrumental in finding locations for some well known gas stations and convenient stores. His biggest claim to fame was finding a "prime" location for the largest furniture store in the Denver Metro Area.
Rex had a dry sense of humor and an ability to give exact precise directions...he sure knew his compass!!
He is where he said he wanted to be once his wife passed away only 20 days earlier; right next to June in the presence of Jesus.
Rex will be buried next to his wife at Ft. Logan National Cemetery with Military Honors on Monday, June 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO 80260.
