Blas was born to Jose Maria and Apolinaria Trevino on February 3, 1939 in Texas.
Blas will be remembered as a loving Father and Husband, and an active member of his Church. He was always there to lend a hand or give a kind word and the illnesses suffered by him and his wife Maria, never took the smile from his face or the warmth of his heart.
Blas is survived by his 5 children; Blas Yslas Jr. (Renata), Roberto, Gregorio (Jenette), Maria (Mike), Lydia (Mark), grandchildren; Jasmine, Dustin, Tito, Blas III, Mariah, Lexie, Zeke, Alyssa, Cisco, Syanne, Lukas, Julia, great grandchild Xander.
Blas worked for Lehrer’s flowers for 23 years before moving on to a career at Martin Marietta where he was part of several interplanetary and DOD projects. He spent his retirement working in heating and air conditioning, along with small appliance repair.
