Dona Dastrup Quick passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016 after 100 years. Dona was born on April 18, 1916 to Sarah Matilda Dastrup and Ephriam Dastrup in Mantai, Utah. She graduated from Brigham Young University in 1937 and married Samuel Alfred Quick (deceased) of Anaconda, Montana. She taught dance and physical education while traveling extensively throughout her life and raising a family. She was a loving wife, mother,and grandmother and a doting friend to everyone she met. She was always able to remember the people she met and their stories no matter how long it had been since she had seen them and made friends of everyone she met. Dona is survived by her three children; Samie Jean Quick, Stephen Douglas Quick, and Claudia Jane Blodgett. She had five grandchildren; Colin MacCorquodale, Jennifer MacCorquodale, Travis Quick (deceased), Ryan Quick, and Courtney Anne Ellison. She also has two great-grandchildren at the time of her passing.
