I am so sorry to hear of Donnita's passing.  I remember how much fun we had at Sew Away..  I also remember the year she drove me to and from the Sew Away because I was unable to drive that year.  We had a great time chatting the whole way.  She had a gift with sewing and was willing to share her knowledge.  She will be missed by all who knew her.  I am privileged to have known her.

It was my pleasure to get to know you. Your transition has left the world with one less lovely lady and gentle soul. Rest in peace.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

 Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
 Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
 That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
 God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

 It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

 God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not  be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Donnita was a very special lady and loved our Grand County Alpaca's.  Sew Away will be missing a fun loving lady.  My condolence to her family.  A sewing friend.

I am saddened to hear of Donnie's passing...what a shock....so many enjoyable memories of growing up together in Fairhaven and Valley View.....where does the time go? Blessings to Donita's family...lovingly with hugs....Karen Peterson Knaup and Sandi, Eric and Tim.

I'm so sorry to hear the world lost Donnita.  She was a kind person with a great sense of humor.  From DFAS to seeing her at sewing stores, you always smiled when you saw her.  My deepest condolences......

We were so lucky to have known Donnita and wish she didn't have to leave so soon. We hope her family will find comfort in knowing Donnita touched so many of us in a positive way, our prayers are with you.

How long we have known Donnita with the TOPS group she belonged to for so many years.  She gave so much to the organization and we all loved her dearly.  Sadness is a word we think of with her passing; but gladness as we think of her going to God.  She did so much to make her TOPS group strong.  Every member is saddened with her leaving, but we fondly remember all the goodness she gave to us.

The world has lost a gentle soul.  From the time we first met her at Duluth Air Base, Minnesota in 1976, until the last time I saw her at the retiree luncheon, her smile was a light to all those around her.  Rest in peace.

Donnita, May you rest in peace, you fought a good fight.  You are with the Lord and in his loving and caring hands.  My condolences to her family.

I have known and loved Donnie since I first met her in 1967 in College - where we were good friends and then roommates.  She is one of the most wonderful friends I have ever had and I will miss her greatly.

The Burditt's were my neighbors growing up. I am so sorry you have lost Donnita. My thoughts are with you.

We were classmates from junior high to graduation.  She and I were the tallest girls in the class and bonded because of this. We worked together a short time at the 10th Avenue Burgermaster and she was on to college. Thought of her frequently through the years. So happy to see we had the same hobbies.  My sympathies for her family and friends, especially the furry ones. RIP Donnita

From the days we worked together through all the plays and adventures we could get into you proved yourself to be one who thoroughly enjoyed living,   But more then that you showed that you were a loyal friend who made sure that those you cared about were happy   You will be missed,

Dear Donnita, we will miss your laugh and great sense of humor, but you're all smiles now in heaven.  We sure enjoyed seeing plays together and last year's trip on the Royal Gorge train.  Peace and love to you.

So sad to lose such a beautiful friend, traveling buddy, sewing/quilting partner, latte drinker, red hatter, photo taker, Avon Walk supporter, quilt show attendee, and shop hop driver. Mom and I already miss you so much.
