Dorothy Marie Preston

Dorothy Marie Preston, long time resident of beautiful Colorado, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the age of 95. Dorothy was born on September 26, 1920 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to parents Denver and Martha.

On November 18, 1962, Dorothy married CSM Glen E. Preston, who preceded her in passing. Dorothy had a love for teaching, and taught at Salina Public School in Salina, Kansas and for the Cherry Creek School System in Denver, Colorado.

Dorothy was a member of the Eastern Star for over fifty years. She also belonged with the University Methodist Church in Salina, Kansas and Burns Memorial Methodist Church in Aurora, Colorado.

Dorothy is survived by her sister, Helen Leinz and many nieces and nephews. There will be a small memorial to honor Dorothy's memory on Monday, October 12th, at 1pm at Olinger Moore Howard Funeral Home in our Chapel. There will be a small reception following the memorial service.

Dorothy's family is asking that all donations be placed thru the Alzheimer's Association.
