Edith Ann Green

Edith Ann Green, 97 was the wife of 62 years to Richard Harris (Jake) Green and the mother of Richard Herman and Robert Virgil Green. She is survived by her 6 Grandchildren, Richard Howard, Steven Edward, Sylvia Ann, Ronald Louis Green, Marie Cain and Teri Vargas. She had 16 Great grandchildren, Elizabeth Marie Eaves, Richard Gabriel-John Green, Janet Rachel Green, Mike Cornell, Steven Daniel Green, Christopher Allen Green, Kathleen Marie Steele, Kevin Joseph Green, Theresa Sylvia Cortese, Rebecca Marie Flick, Joseph Richard, Matthew Ronald Green, Matthew Cain, Tricia, Xavier Junior, Bianca Vargas. There are 8 Great-Great grandchildren Jonas, Connor Cornell, Nicolas Green, Lilliya Steele, Phillippa and Lila Cortese, Audrey Vargas, Damian Vargas. She was a Godly woman dedicated to her faith, her husband and her family. Her passions “were Christ, kids and crafts”. She loved the outdoors, travel. She volunteered for many non-profit organizations particularly with children. She was a model of patience and loyalty. We will all miss her, and her ice cream socials. She was born on December 17, 1916 and went to be with the Lord May 4th 2014.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 9 at 2 PM with burial to follow at Olinger Hampden Mortuary at 8600 E. Hampden Ave in Denver, Colorado. A visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5-7 at the same location.
