Evangelina "Nanie" Valenzuela Alaniz, age 52, of Denver, Colorado passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at her residence. Evangelina "Nanie" was born on July 9, 1971 in California to parents Francisco Valenzuela and Sophia Escalante. She attended and graduated from Firebaugh High School. She was a proud housewife to her husband and family.
She is survived by loving husband Cesilio Alaniz Hernandez; son Francisco "Frankie" Alaniz; parents Francisco Valenzuela and Sophia Escalante; brother Raymond Rascon; sister Ana Vasquez; other family members: Domenic Castro, Chrystal Ramirez, Michael Ramirez, Marcelo Ramirez, Jesus Ramirez, Nick Rascon, Stephanie Rascon, Steven Rascon, Deisy Alaniz, Janeth Alaniz, Mayra Alaniz, Edgar Alaniz and Uriel Alaniz.
A visitation for Evangelina "Nanie" will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Olinger Hampden Mortuary & Cemetery, 8600 East Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 8600 East Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 8600 East Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231.
