Faye started working at the Rocky Mountain News on August 1, 1959, and continued to work there for over 40 years. Faye met William "Clair" Jordan while working at the News. During their marriage Faye and Clair liked to travel, garden and were avid fans and season ticketholders of the Denver Broncos. Faye was a faithful member of Eastside Church of the Nazarene and later a member of Denver First Church of the Nazarene. The church was always a vital part of her life.
