Iris Dianne Haney

Adam Benjamin Driscoll and Edith Marie Bow Driscoll.

Iris relocated to Denver, Colorado with her only daughter Marcia Driscoll in 1972. Shortly after

moving to Colorado she met the love of her life Daniel L. Haney. She began working as a

Nutrition Supervisor at Colorado University Hospital in 1977 and retired twenty-three years

later. In May of 1978 she married Daniel L. Haney. They would become first time grandparents

on March 19th, 1988 when Styhl M. Driscoll was born and again on May 3rd, 1998 when Drea P.

Driscoll was born. But Iris’s greatest family accomplishment was becoming a Great

Grandmother to Elara Marie Driscoll on August 15th, 2013.

Iris will be missed for her passion to care for others. Her selflessness and high spirit made it

easy to be respected by anyone that met her. Her decisive mindset was unparallel. If she said it,

she meant it. Her perseverance was infectious. When she said “I believe in you”, you truly

believed it.

Iris’s cooking brought everyone together. Rather it be the holidays or a random day of the

week, if she said she was cooking people would line up for a plate. Most would say they feel in

love with her through her food.

Iris attended Emily Griffith where she received 3 certificates of completion for Nutrition. In her

free-time she enjoyed doing many things such as: listening to Motown artist, traveling to Estes

Park, gardening, playing bingo, cooking, and hanging out with Great-Granddaughter and much

more.

Iris was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Daniel L. Haney and her brothers and

sisters, Benjamin Driscoll, Peter Driscoll, Lawrence Driscoll, Helen Driscoll, Frances Driscoll,

Elaine Driscoll and Marion Driscoll.

her only child Marcia Driscoll-Tillman, Son-in-Law, Ken Tillman, Grandsons, Styhl Driscoll and

Fiance Amanda Peterson, Drea Driscoll, Great- Granddaughter, Elara Driscoll, Brother, Ronnie

Driscoll, Sister, Rosetta Driscoll, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends
