The life of… Mr. James Dishmon III
James Dishmon III also known as “Jamie” was born on August 1, 1964 in Denver Colorado to the late James Dishmon Jr. and Betty Jean Dishmon. He was the second oldest of five children born to this union. His oldest brother is Curtis Dishmon and oldest sister is Cheryl Shenette Watts, the siblings following him is baby sister, Angela Marie Dishmon and younger brother, Shawn Dishmon.
Jamie attended George Washington High School. Later in life he completed and achieved his GED, also furthering his education and accomplishing his Certificate of Achievement in Warehouse Management. He was an honorable and trustworthy businessman in all aspects of his life.
In his past time, his hobbies included him having a prestige talent, in poker, chess, dice and dominos. His love for music and the pride he took in his cars would make anyone proud if you were blessed to be a passenger in his car.
Jamie and Fletchanne Anderson bore his first son the late James Dishmon IV. He was a loving father and had a very close and special bond with is late son Jay. This father and son relationship were passed down from his own cherished relationship with his father the late James Dishmon Sr.
Later in life Jamie was united with his beautiful wife Shelley Dishmon, and in their union, they were blessed with three beautiful girls. Yanni Lynn Dishmon, Jemimah Amanda- Jean Dishmon, Semaj Yamiah Dishmon.
His surviving daughters have fond memories of the precious time they spent with their father.
"Yanni- My dad is the most patient loyal, and loving person I’ve met in my life. My dad gave the smartest advice and always knew what to do in every situation. My dad has a laugh that can light up a whole room.
Jemimah- He is a good man and father to us! He is sweet, nice, kind and knows how to do a lot. He takes of care of people and he is loving man and Dad and he still is. He is so peaceful and having the time of his life in Heaven! We love you Daddy."
"Semaj - Daddy is a loveable man it was his time to go to heaven. I miss you and rest in peace you are in a good place that place is in heaven. You must rest in peace with my dear brother Jay. We love you."
On December 25, 2019, James Dishmon III, departed this life. Those left to cherish his memory include wife Shelley, daughters Yanni, Jemimah, Semaj, siblings Curtis, Cheryl, Angela and Shawn, five grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
A Wonderful Man I Love
The more I know, the deeper I appreciate and love him, as I cherish and enjoy a rare and priceless work of art.
I realize he may not be as perfect as I see him, yet in my eyes and my heart there's no one else on earth more genuine and precious then my one and only love, there's no treasure anywhere to equal what he's worth.
With you I found the perfect partner, the best friend, and the sweetest love anyone has ever known. I’m so grateful that God led me to you.
