John Takeo Nakano

John “Johnny” Nakano, 68, born in Cozad, Nebraska on May 18, 1947, went to that big fishing hole in the sky on May 10th, 2016. Survived by his children; Crystal Trujillo (Ian), Gina Carling, Cindy Gomez (Cesar), and BJ Portugal. Siblings; Thomas Nakano, Susan Nakano, Naomi Nakano. Grandchildren; Monique Trujillo, Audrianna Trujillo, David Lucero, Brianne Portugal, Sonja Carling, Jacob Portugal. Great grandchildren; Mariah Martinez, Ezekiel Fierro, Alecia Fresquez, Milliano Martinez. Also, survived by numerous extended family and friends. Preceded in death by Thomas and Jeanne Nakano. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 19, 2016, at Holy Family Catholic Church, located at 4377 Utica Street, Denver. The service concludes with a reception at Holy Family Parish Center. Everyone is invited.
