It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jose Orlando Maes III, a remarkable young man who touched the lives of everyone around him. Born on August 13, 2005, Jose lived a life full of strength, laughter, and love.
Jose was a gifted athlete, excelling in both wrestling and football. His dedication and passion for sports were evident in every match and game he played. A true competitor, he embodied the spirit of teamwork and determination. After graduating high school, Jose pursued his dream of becoming a barber. He completed barber school and was just beginning a promising career in the field, where his talent and charisma were sure to shine.
Beyond his athletic and professional achievements, Jose was known for his big heart and infectious laughter. He had a natural gift for bringing joy to those around him, always cracking jokes and lifting spirits. His respectfulness and kindness were unmatched, and he never hesitated to express his love for family and friends.
Jose was a loving son, a protective big brother, and a loyal friend. His genuine warmth and caring nature left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He is deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of love, laughter, and strength will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
A visitation for Jose will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Olinger Hampden Mortuary & Cemetery, 8600 East Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231.
A funeral service will occur Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, 8600 East Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231.
A graveside service will occur Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM, 8600 East Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231.
