

October 1, 1938 – March 26, 2025
The family of Larry Fred, of Aurora Co. is saddened to announce his passing on March 26, 2025, at the age of 86 years. His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure. Forever in our hearts.
Born to Kenneth and Blanche (Sorenson) Frederick in Kearney, NE, Larry graduated from Kearney HS then raised his hand to join the Navy in 1956. While in the Navy, with the Airedales he served on the USS Randolph CVA-15. After the Navy he worked for Martin Marietta, where he found the love of his life, which he almost lost because of the horse track. While becoming a father he worked in the banking industry for The First National Bank of Englewood for 25yrs, becoming VP of commercial loans. Next was his dream job of 20yrs, wearing shorts, selling and financing RVs for Family Camping. In retirement, Fred spent time dancing, fishing, bowling and playing Bocce Ball.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Diana Frederick; children, Jason (Micki) Frederick and Tonya (Dusty) Guerrieri; grandchildren, Henry Frederick, Codi Guerrieri; siblings, Donna (Mark) Kersch, Jim (Sharon) Frederick, Susie (Jerry) Weister, Kathy Frederick; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Shirley Carmichael, brother, Ronnie Frederick and grandson, Briar Frederick.
A memorial service for Larry will be held Monday, April 21, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3689 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80235.
Following the memorial service will be a reception from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Olinger Hampden Mortuary & Cemetery, 8600 East Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231.
