Linda Sutherland

She was born in Lawrence, Kansas on November 17th, 1957 and She was baptized at Williamsburg Methodist Church in Williamsburg, Kansas. She graduated from East High School in Denver, Colorado in 1975, and then attended Colorado Mountain College.

She was married to Larry Schuckenbrock from 1977 to 1979. She was married to Roger Brix from 1987 to 1994.

Linda worked in several fields, but was always involved in caregiving of both people and animals. She had a passion for gardening, animals, dancing, listening to music, “thrifting” (finding special treasures for loved ones), going to community events and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons Dustin Schuckenbrock (Jenn) and Jesse Brix (Tawni), her grandchildren Melanie and Emma Schuckenbrock, her mother Kris Bateman, her father Bob Sutherland (Judy), her brothers Mike Sutherland (Sherry) and Brad Fowlkes, her sister Lori Underwood (Scott), her niece Haley Underwood, her nephews Joshua Hime, Dustin Stalcup (Lisa) and Luke Sutherland and her beloved pets Opie and Ebony.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church located at 15555 E Quincy Ave Aurora, Colorado 80015 on Saturday, September 6th, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Wells Fargo Bank in the name of "Linda Sutherland Memorial" by her sons, Dustin and Jesse, to provide a final resting place for Linda on Mount Lindo.
