Madilyn Jean Mosley was born September 6, 1960 the 6th of seven children born to the late Henry Bob Fowler Sr. and Birdie Norlene Fowler. She was a beautiful baby and a great addition to the lively Fowler family. Mattie, as her family and friends lovingly called her, was very particular concerning all things ensuring that everything was decent and in order, a trait that ensured she was present in anything that pursued excellence and included her family. She excelled in track and field, studied cosmetology and was a Minister of the Gospel. She could be found any given day singing with her sisters, startled by simply hearing “the witches rise at night” and sharing love and joy with all she came in contact with. She loved children and spent years working with children through the state of Colorado. She was full of life, creative and extremely funny. Her family fondly remembers her jokes and antics that often coupled with songs and her beautiful smile. On December 2, 2017 at the age of 57, Madilyn passed from this life to her eternal reward. She is preceded in death by her father, Henry Fowler, Sr., and her brother, Nathaniel Wayne Fowler. She is survived by her mother, Birdie Fowler and her siblings Carlotta Hemphill (Lee), Marilyn Thomas, Henry Fowler, Jr., Sharon Porter (Michael), Elva Liburd (James) and many, many nieces and nephews. She is eternally loved, eternally cared for, and now rests in the arms of the God who is, was and is to come.
