Maria Jacobo

Maria was born to Genaro Lamas and Marianna Cruz on December 12, 1954 in Huejuquilla, El Alto Jalisco, Mexico, we all knew her by Mama, Goya, Tia Goya. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and Grandmother.

She married Justo Jacobo on December 29, 1971, which lasted a wonderful 41 years, they had four children Juan Agustin Jacobo born on August 28, 1976, Sofia Marianna Jacobo born September 29, 1977, Mario Jacobo born May 24, 1979 and Andres Refugio Jacobo born December 20, 1982, and six grandchildren, Ashley Marie Delants, Isaac Matthew Jacobo, Lukas Nathaňo Jacobo, Anthony Jacobo-Reed, Destiny Jacobo and Emmanuel Lamas.

Maria and Justo moved to Colorado permanently, and lived in Denver for before moving to their home in Aurora, Colorado in 1993. Maria worked at Ann Taylor for twenty one years. She attended church regularly at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Denver, Colorado.

Maria’s siblings include Lupe Lamas, Arnalfo Lamas, Ramon Lamas, Socorro Lamas, Noel Lamas, Geraldo Lamas, Juanita Lamas, Chayo Lamas, Teresa Lamas and Miguel Lamas.

Maria was taken too soon from us on Sunday December 16, 2012, she was 58 years old.

She will be dearly missed by all.
