

Mary Jane was born September 1, 1939, in Buffalo, New York, and grew up in Ellicottville, NY. She passed away on January 16, 2024, after a difficult battle with cancer. Mary Jane’s final moments were spent peacefully surrounded by family in her son’s home in Lake Forest, California. She is survived by her sons Kevin (Hsienman), Karl (Terri), Kyle (Darla), daughter Karen, Brother Michael Ahrens, and eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her Husband, Kenneth Cowles Warrior, and her second son, Kirk. After attending Graceland University for a year in Iowa, she married Kenneth Warrior on June 6, 1959. Kenneth was in the Navy, so he and Mary Jane moved every two to three years and lived in several states while raising five wonderful children. When Kenneth retired from the Navy, he and Mary Jane moved in the summer of 1976 to Miles City, Montana. She relocated to Aurora, Colorado, in 2000, to help care for family. Mary Jane and Kenneth remarried September 7, 2003, after a 20-year separation. Mary Jane enjoyed sewing, knitting, quilting and spending time with family. She actively supported the Community Church in Aurora and a was lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary. Mary Jane was dearly loved by her family and friends and always remain in our hearts.
