Michael Anthony Camarillo

Michael, affectionately known as Mike or Mikey, was known for his quick wit, infectious humor, and competitive spirit. He had a remarkable ability to make people laugh and brought energy and joy to every room he entered. Highly athletic and always up for a challenge, Michael rarely lost a game of horseshoes or cornhole and loved friendly competition with family and friends.

A lifelong sports fan, Michael proudly supported Colorado teams. His favorite team was the Texas Longhorns, and he was also a devoted fan of the Duke Blue Devils. Baseball was another passion of his, and he loved the game both as a player and as a fan.

Michael graduated from Gateway High School and later attended Colorado Mesa University. He went on to build a career with Lockheed Martin, where he was respected for his strong work ethic and dedication.

Above all else, Michael loved his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Courtney Camarillo; his stepdaughter, Leila (12); and his son, Kyler (5). He is also survived by his mother, Nicole Levitre, and his stepfather, Ron; his brother, Patrick Camarillo Jr., and sister-in-law, Jeri Camarillo, and their children, Rylie and Parker; his sister, Sarah Sansburn, and brother-in-law, Josh Sansburn, and their son, Jaylen; and his grandparents, Sheryl Smith and Randall Bilharz, and Ralph Camarillo. He is also remembered by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Camarillo Sr.

Michael will be remembered for his humor, athleticism, loyalty, and the deep love he had for his family and friends. His laughter and presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held at Olinger Hampden Mortuary, Ponderosa Chapel, 8600 E Hampden Ave, Denver, CO, on April 2, 2026, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

A Memorial Service will be held at Olinger Hampden Mortuary & Cemetery, 8600 East Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231, US, on April 3, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
