
Milton Laverne Vincent, of Denver, CO went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 2, 2013, after 88 wonderful years, having been born at home in Nebraska on May 30, 1925.
Milton married Evelyn Jean Holcomb December 16, 1949, and she is always prepared to share stories of the many happy times spent together over their 63 years.
He is survived by Evelyn and their four children: Heidi Jo Vincent-Long of Aurora, CO; Marcus L. Vincent of Denver; Myron L. Vincent of Windsor, CO; and William E. Vincent of Parker, CO. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Ryan, Marni, Preston & Christopher.
Milton had a productive and fruitful life: first as a Farmer in NE; an Apartment and Grocery Store owner in Denver; and as an Executive Officer for several major Grocery Companies: as Director of Meat Operations for King Soopers in CO, where he designed and directed the world’s first central meat processing plant; VP for Albertson’s in CO; and VP for Ralph’s in CA. He was also responsible for managing construction of the Mission for the Homeless in Downtown Los Angeles, CA, along with many Church leadership and other volunteer programs.
Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday June 6, 2013 at Olinger Hampden Mortuary & Cemetery, 8600 E. Hampden Ave., Denver, CO 80231.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
