Nancy Marie Kiehn

August 30, 1940 – April 24, 2025

Nancy Marie Kiehn, age 84, of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Born in Galesburg, Illinois, on August 30, 1940, Nancy was the beloved daughter of John W. Madigan and Marie (Morrison) Madigan.

Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She married the love of her life, Gunther Kiehn, on June 29, 1974, in Denver, Colorado where they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and unwavering support for one another. Together, they raised two children: their son Mark Kiehn and daughter Kathleen (Dan) Radetsky, who brought immense joy to Nancy’s life. She was also a proud and adoring grandmother to Aleksander and Spencer Radetsky.

Nancy enjoyed a dedicated career as a medical transcriptionist, where her attention to detail and strong work ethic left a lasting impact. Her quiet strength, kindness, and warm heart touched the lives of all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Gunther; her children, Mark Kiehn and Kathleen (Dan) Radetsky; her cherished grandsons, Aleksander and Spencer Radetsky; and her siblings: Joyce of Illinois, Jean of Colorado, John (Mary) of Wisconsin, and Joan (Jeff) of Illinois. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, John and Marie.

Nancy’s legacy lives on in the family she loved deeply and the countless memories shared with those fortunate enough to know her.

A visitation for Nancy will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a mass of christian burial at 10:00 AM both at Risen Christ Catholic Parish 3060 S. Monaco Parkway, Denver, CO 80231. A committal service (entombment) will occur Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Olinger Hampden Mortuary & Cemetery, 8600 East Hampden Ave., Denver, CO 80231.
