Patrick Luciano Florez, 40, passed away February 28, 2025, after a long illness. Patrick is survived by his sons, Christian (Juliana), David, Elijah, Jonah, and Abel; parents Dee Dee, Greg (Vivian); brother Matthew (Mariana); grandpa Ralph; godson Israel, goddaughters Danielle and Isabella; former spouse Jessica; aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends. He is preceded in death by grandparents, uncles and cousin. Patrick’s greatest joys in life were his sons. His spirit will live on in them. Patrick was a My Denver recreation instructor at Southwest Recreation Center and took great pride in his work connecting with the kids in his program, his colleagues and patrons, who were his friends. Everyone loved Patrick. He was always making others laugh and smile. We will forever miss him and his smile. We will celebrate Patrick’s life on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Olinger Hampden Mortuary, 8600 E. Hampden Avenue, Denver, Colorado,80231, followed by the inurnment at 11:30 a.m. at Olinger Cemetery , Cremation Nature Garden with a luncheon reception to follow at Southwest Recreation Center, 9200 W. Saratoga Place, Denver, Colorado 80123.
