He is survived by son and his wife, Jim & Megan; daughter & her husband, Susan and Chuck; and daughter & her husband, Ann and Pat. He was a grandfather to 5 grandchildren.
His life was dedicated to his family and his Christian faith. During the Korean War, he fled from North to South Korea which time he was separated from his immediate family. As a refugee and orphan, he joined the Air Force during the Korean war. After serving, he met his wife and worked overseas for several years to support his family back home. In the mid 70s, he courageously moved his family to the United States to provide a greater opportunity for their three children. He worked tirelessly to support his family. He was a quiet and humble man, proud of his life journey and his family accomplishments.
He served as an active member and elder of his church. His strong Christian faith was displayed daily. He and his wife spent most of their time volunteering and opening their home to provide meals to their church families. His service to Christian community and local community was unwavering.
He enjoyed nature and scenic drives. He especially appreciated the mountains of Colorado which he and his wife hiked often with friends.
