Willa B. Brown passed away on May 13, 2016 in Aurora, Colorado. She was born on May 1, 1922 in Colgate, Oklahoma to the late Andrew P. Wiley and Willie Ware Wiley and into a family of nine children. Her husband, parents, brothers, and sisters have preceded her in death.
Willa worked for a private family for many years. She also was a cateress for private parties and friends.
She was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church and served as a church usher. Willa was also a member of the American Legion where she served as President.
Willa leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service honoring Willa will be held on Tuesday, May 24 at 10:30am at Olinger Hampden Mortuary in Denver. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 12:30pm, immediately following the funeral service.
