Byung Chang, 71, of Arlington Heights, IL passed away on July 11, 2022 after battling prostate cancer and acute myeloid leukemia for 4 years. Byung was born in Seoul, Korea in 1950. He graduated from Hanyang University with an architectural engineering degree and worked as an architectural engineer in both South Korea and Saudi Arabia.
Byung was married to Jung in 1980 and they were married for 42 years. Byung is survived by Jung Chang (wife), Yo Chang (son), Tammy Choi (daughter in law), Sarah Chang (daughter), Roy Hong (son in law), Alison Hong (granddaughter), Harrison Hong (grandson), and other family and friends.
Visitation will take place at St. Paul Chong Hasang Catholic Church, Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 9:00 am -10:00 am following mass at 10:00 am. Burial will follow the funeral mass at All Saints Catholic Cemetery.
