Carol Ann Olsen

Born November 7, 1942, in Chicago, IL to the late Arthur Kropp and the late Edna Kropp, she was the beloved wife of the late Harry Ivar Olsen. Cherished aunt of Barbara (Eric) Helgeland, Catherine (the late Peter) Karabas, Linda Olsen, Perry (Lisa) Olsen, Peter (Ana) Olsen, and Henry (Stephanie) Olsen. Dear great aunt of Sean, Ryan, Erin, Bryn, and Camryn Helgeland, James and Pete Karabas, Henry Grant, Paige, Peyton, Christian, and Brett Olsen, Alexandra, Lucas, and Matheus Olsen, and Oscar, Emmett, and Anders Olsen; fond sister-in-law of the late Reidar, the late Clara, and the late Agnes; special neighbor of Deana (Ron) Ebbole and their grandchildren Jimmy, Veronica, and Ava; and special auntie and friend to many.

As a dedicated member for 50 years of the Wee C Miniature Club, Carol spent countless hours meticulously creating tiny art that became synonymous with her persona. She made friends that lasted a lifetime and shared a passion that only grew with time. Carol’s garden always flourished with various flowers, especially roses, and vegetables that brought her a great sense of joy. She will be deeply missed by all those that knew her including her friends at Mrs. V’s Restaurant in Des Plaines.
